Dates Of Significance

• 1923- Invention of the talkies. These were the first films with actual sound on them.
• 1950- Colour appears on the first video.
  
• 1955- Rock and Roll appears.
  
• 1967- Television variety shows appear featuring bands and artists. The first music videos were sent in to be shown if the bands were not available.
  
• 1975- Modern Music Video.
  
• 1979- Pop Clips.
  
• 1980-David Bowie "Ashes to Ashes" music video released.
  
• 1981- MTV created (Video Killed The Radio Star was the first video to be aired).
  
• 1985- CD first available in shops. Video Killed The Radio Star.

Contacting The Band!!!

That was easy! The band (Big Delusion) replied with lightening speed. Woop! Woop! They informed our group that we could use their song for our video as long as we placed a Creative Commons license on it and released it on the web for others to share.
